The Cruyff Turn

The Cruyff Turn was famously employed by Cruyff in the 1974 FIFA World Cup, first being seen in the Netherlands' match against Sweden, and was soon widely copied by other players around the world.[2]

It remains one of the most commonly used dribbling tricks in the modern game. (Wikipedia, 2012)

This greatest thing about this trick is that you can use it to get away from an opponent or to actually beat him/her.
